TFT Travels: Homeslice, London

A perfect stop for giant slices of pizza, and casual, relaxed dining.

Whenever I travel, I am given restaurant recommendations by Aesh and Mudi, so I decided to try one from each of their lists on a recent trip to London. On Aesh’s recommendation, I landed up at Homeslice, a small pizza joint in Covent Garden. Delightfully quaint and informal, it served wood-fired pizza by the slice which made it easier to order. The topping options were unusual and interesting, but I stuck to the pizza litmus test – a margarita. The slice was huge. The sauce and cheese were flavourful but since I like my crust crispy, this was a bit limp for my taste. Washed down with a glass of white wine, it was enjoyable. Homeslice proved a relaxing halt, definitely one to try.
